Okapi uses an industry standard command line interface(CLI) for managing all configurations thereby allowing existing workforce to use the router without fresh training. Okapi offers remote administration options like telnet, SSH etc..

 

There are various authenticating protocols supported in captive portal such as LDAP, Kerberos, RADIUS etc. and openvpn supports LDAP, which allows it to service a large number of networks having one of these authenticating servers.
