Shown below is a sample network, having several different forms of LAN segments. Okapi router is running on each computer that is shown in the figure. By clicking on any computer or a router in the figure, the command line interface for the Okapi router on that machine can be accessed.

After successful authentication the CLI can be used to view the running configuration on each machine. The user can check the connectivity of a machine with the others using the ping command. The user can also get familiarized with special features like "auto-completion", "description". In order to use auto completion, the user needs to press the "TAB" key. "?" is pressed after a word that has to be described.
